Back to Kuching, and attempting to go back to blogging!
Well.. I've actually been back in Kuching for several weeks now...
The only thing worth blogging about is probably the premiere of Possessed! It was held at Star cineplex and they were actually cleaning the place (with equipment that looked a decade old.. but hey! cleaning is cleaning).

Jeff was impressed and he said so.
Not to be outdone Ben told Jeff he was impressed as well.
Due to the shitty quality of my phone cam and the large number of sakais I was unable to get a pic of Amber. I did however get a free coke and a bottle of borneo waterMy coke

Which is a horror movie, I think ( Trailer was more like a comedy though) starring our good friend Amber Chia.

Also known as the star of the movie "The Third Generation" which I can safely say bored us all to tears. Recap
Needless to say, I was extremely sceptical of this new film and well... I have not watched it yet
( Scared of being bored to tears)
The film also stars Harisu, a singer, model and actress from South Korea

See, Our Kuching movie got imported talent man! So geng one oo..
Anyway, here are some pics of Harisu.

Wah! So sexy right? But guess what?
Harisu was born Lee Kyung-yup in Seongnam, near
o.o
Omg! She is actually a guy! A very hot and attractive guy that is.. wait.. that sounded very wrong..
B4 and after
And look "She's" getting passionate with an actor in the film.. eww or coool? hmmm

Anyway, I'll have to watch that movie soon as I've watched everything else zzzz.
The review will come after I've watched it.
Now onto a movie I have watched.
CICAKMAN

Argh... I do not know what drove me to watch this. Must've been boredom or a cicak fetish or something. Went to watch it with Jeffery last night. The beginning was ok, it showed a comic strip, the effects were pretty cool..
Story was in some city called metroflus I think. It had a 100% malay population, and everyone spoke Malay. There were no subtitles. Having been in Australia for a year, I had much dificulty trying to understand the movie.
Cicakman was played by Saiful Apek. His way of speaking reminds me of an old chipmunk.
It gets on your nerves, and its bloody NOT funny. ( I'm sure it was meant to be funny though)
He turned into Cicakman when he drank some coffee with a lizard in it. I did drink some coffee with an ant in it however I did not suddenly get ant-like powers. He shud have become Cicakman some other way la.. I mean cmon, at least Spiderman got bitten by a "Radioactive Spider". What other superhero got his/her powers by drinking a beverage with an animal in it? Its absurd I tell you.. Absurd. This is Malaysia Boleh for you la.
The villian, Proffesor Klon was played by Azwil Nawawi (Huh? Who's that?)
Kinda looks like Cikgu Danny huh?
He was even more annoying than Saiful Apek if humanely possible. Words cannot really explain how he talked, you'll have to watch it for yourself (Not recommended). He had two henchmen played by.. Ah , who cares... called the Ginger Boys. One of them could not talk and the other could only yell broken sentences extremely loudly. I was watching it in Cineplex 3 with the good sound system so I was almost deafened.
The rest of the cast i will not describe as there is nothing remotely interesting about them.
If you are a malay, watch this movie and you will find it very entertaining. The Malays in the theater with us frequently burst into racuous laughter, while Jeff and I totally failed to get the joke. Needless to say we walked out in the middle of the film.. yes it was that bad.
On a sidenote: What would Cicakman be called in BM.. CicakManusia? CicakOrang? CicakLelaki?
And the Ginger boys? Lelaki Halia? Budak Lelaki Halia?
hehehehe....
